Solar is NOT dead!8/30/2023 NEM 3.0 is not the "Solar Killer" that they want your to think it is...We're still seeing great metrics such as ROI, NPV, & IRR, so Going Solar hasn't lost it's financial benefits. In fact, it has gained yet another benefit. All new solar installations will now include a grid-tied battery by default. What this means for new solar customers is that they will start off with half the battery capacity, and will have paid 75% of the overall cost of, a full backup power system. That's right, you'll be really close to an off-grid system - right out of the gate. So down the road, when you decide that you want a fully functional backup power system, you will only need to invest roughly the same as it would cost to have a gas powered generator installed. There are several advantages to battery backup vs traditional generators, such as; a much better warranty, no maintenance, no operating costs, no noise, and no fumes. And here you thought there was no silver lining...
Furthermore, ALL Save Energy customers will get an even better ROI since we've designed a proprietary method to achieve a much better cost-per-watt efficiency than our competitors. And, we pass this savings on to our loyal customers. All in spite of the fact that we are installing Enphase inverter and battery systems, which we feel are the best on the market.
